Whether you have a question about your new home, a missed bin, or the green spaces around us, use this guide to find the right point of contact.
Your Home & Development Issues
For issues regarding your specific property or the immediate area under construction, please follow this hierarchy:
- Step 1: Your Builder: Most issues should be raised directly with your builder’s site team. After the initial handover period, you will transition to their central customer support.
- Step 2: Escalation: If your builder is unresponsive or the issue is inappropriate for them, contact the Urban & Civic Master Developer Lead:
- Contact: Christine Littlewood (Community Development Lead)
Estate Management & Public Spaces
Wintringham’s public realm is managed through a partnership between the Master Developer and estate management.
- Public Green Spaces: All public spaces (excluding adopted roads) are maintained by Encore Estate Management. Contact them directly to report issues with landscaping or communal park areas.
- Street Lighting: Most roads are currently maintained by the house builders until they are formally “adopted” by the council. If a street light is out, contact Christine Littlewood, who will identify the responsible builder for you.
Waste & Recycling
Refuse services are managed by Huntingdonshire District Council.
- Resources: Latest Refuse Calendar; Refuse Guide
- Missed Bins: If your bin was not collected, call the council on 01480 388640.
- Note: Call after 3:00 PM (but before 4:00 PM) to ensure collection within 3 working days.
- If the phone call does not resolve the issue, email: wasteminimisation@huntingdonshire.gov.uk
